Consulting and Construction Management Services Provided:
Worked with engineer of record to finalize permitted plans, negotiated contracts with seismic retrofit contractor, environmental contractor, roofing contractor, painter, and other miscellaneous contractors to provide a complete project scope, finishes and all. Oversaw and managed mobilization of all contractors, and coordinated various trades and consultants during project work. Problem-solved various details of design, provided quality control inspections, and managed a very detailed and complex project through to completion. Provided complete set of archives at project close-out, including both paper and electronic copies of project documents, along with CDs of photos taken throughout the project.
Project Work Scope:
Asbestos abatement, followed by a complete seismic upgrade including plywood strengthening of roof diaphragm and reroofing. Coordinated miscellaneous finish details including paint, ADA ramp, crown molding and other final touches.
Special Project Conditions:
Tight access for lift equipment inside of sanctuary and dramatically steep roof slopes called for unique solutions during the roof strengthening and reroofing process.
