Sanctuary for Presbyterian Church
Worked with engineer of record to finalize permitted plans, negotiated contracts with seismic retrofit contractor, environmental contractor, roofing contractor, painter, and other miscellaneous contractors to provide a complete project scope, finishes and all. Oversaw and managed mobilization of all contractors, and coordinated various trades and consultants during project work. Problem-solved various details of design, provided quality control inspections, and managed a very detailed and complex project through to completion. Provided complete set of archives at project close-out, including both paper and electronic copies of project documents, along with CDs of photos taken throughout the project.
Asbestos abatement, followed by a complete seismic upgrade including plywood strengthening of roof diaphragm and reroofing. Coordinated miscellaneous finish details including paint, ADA ramp, crown molding and other final touches.
Tight access for lift equipment inside of sanctuary and dramatically steep roof slopes called for unique solutions during the roof strengthening and reroofing process.
